Is Wattcy suitable for a mini-campsite?
Absolutely, Wattcy is also an interesting solution for a mini-campsite with a limited number of pitches. Since we don’t use central equipment and each connection is directly linked to the software, the solution is also very cost-effective for smaller campsites.
Does Wattcy use my Wi-Fi?
Wattcy does not use your campsite’s Wi-Fi network, nor does it use your wired network. All data is directly transmitted to the software.
Can I try Wattcy on a trial basis to test it?
One advantage of Wattcy is that each connection or electricity distribution box communicates directly with our software. This makes it very easy to start with just a few connections to experience the benefits of Wattcy firsthand.
Do I need to install anything on my PC?
Wattcy is a fully cloud-based solution that can be accessed via your web browser. A computer, tablet, or smartphone with an internet connection is all you need to use Wattcy.
Can I switch to a different subscription later?
Wattcy offers multiple subscription plans to match your needs. If you later decide that a different subscription suits you better, it’s easy to make the switch.
Why is a subscription required?
Wattcy does not rely on your Wi-Fi network or fixed network connections at your campsite or holiday park; instead, we use the mobile network. This ensures the system’s reliability and security. Additionally, no software installation is needed, as everything runs in the cloud. The costs for these services are covered through a subscription model.
Can I have it installed myself (or by someone else)?
That’s certainly possible. We are happy to share our expertise with your technical team or (in-house) installer to ensure a fully functional installation is delivered.
